What Vipul has to say about the bike..

1. What do you call your bike and why?
A.I call it an Earthmover and sometimes even a Powerhouse coz of the huge torque and power that you experience when you push it.

2. Is she your first bike? If not what did you own before this?
A.My first superbike. My last bike was a RD 350 but that was more than 20 years back.

3. Was it love at first sight or a product of long term research?
A.Always wanted a cruiser but a powerful cruiser. When i first saw the Intruder, i knew this is what i wanted. As soon as the test ride was over, i booked it.

4. Explain what went through your mind during the months before you managed to lay your hands on it?
A.Fortunately i got the delivery in a few days of making the decision.

5. First impression when you saw her all gleaming and polished.
A.I was on top of the world.

6. How long have you had the bike for and how many kilometers have you clocked.
A.Have had it for 4 months and have done 3000 kms.

7. What the best attribute of the bike.
A.It's road presence.

8. What’s irritates you most about the bike?
A.It's a little too heavy and a bit of a problem to move when putting it and taking it out from a parking.


9. What part of the bike would you change and why?
A.The stock exhausts could have a better and a more powerful sound.

10. What does your riding gear comprise of and which brand suits you the most.
A.Still need to buy good gear. As of now i wear a jacket with elbow, shoulder and back protection (Planet DSG), gloves ( Alpine Stars), knee guards and high boots (Orazo). And off course an HJC helmet.

11. If you’d cheat on your bike, with which would it be?
A .Busa

12. Is she girlfriend material or long term wife material?
A.Lifelong wife material.

13. Do you believe in cosmetic customization, If yes then what have you done on it?
A. No, i strongly feel the intruder is the best looking in it's original form.
Just added a windshield for practical reasons.

14. What according to you is the best mod to extract a little more bhp? What accessories did you spend your money on?
A. Nothing so far but will get K&N filters and an after market exhaust soon.

15. Is she high on maintenance? Have you run into any electrical/mechanical issues? Touchwood, A. A. Touch wood nothing so far. It's still a new bike.

16. What do you feed her? (what oil what petrol?)
A.97 octane fuel. The oil is done by Suzuki..


17. What does your wife/girl friend think about her?
A.I think she actually feels jealous with the amount of attention i give my bike.

18. Do you service it on your own? Or trust the mechanic at the service center?
A.It's still under warrantee and so i use the Suzuki nominated workshop.

19. What’s the maximum three digit figure you’ve seen on the Speedo?
A.So far 225 kmph.
